Beauty is Only Bronzer Deep

I have always admired Anne Hathaway for her strong sense of self, her family values and not to mention her perfect complexion. So, when she arrived at the Rio Premiere, looking Geek Chic Glam I wasn't suprised that she'd carried it off. Studying her 'look' as most girls do - I realised as ever that simplicity was the key. Never looking like she tries to hard but carrying off a sophistocated and elegant look, Anne inspires my look today.

After googling Anne's skincare regime (are these ever true?) I got carried away into my subject of passion - skincare. What I realised for the first time today is that although mentioned frequently in passing, at the bottom of a long list of beauty products - skincare is often overlooked in importance when it comes to our favourite mags. My favourite
landing pages to discover more about the vast range of skincare ranges out there are usually www.beautybible.com, www.lizearle.com and more recently numerous skincare blogs but, searching within magazines I never fall across many articles directly related to skincare. I was amazed that I've never noticed it before but was also amazed to find that this is covered in more detail in magazines across the pond. The US edition of Elle online has a section dedicated to skincare whilst we brits clump skincare and make up together. Are we to take from this that for us english roses, health and skin care is of lesser importance? I know personally for me this is not the case. I am now on the mission to research more and understand why. Honestly, you google one tiny thing . . . .
